After a series of continuous denials, it is finally out. Actress Meena has finalised to tie the marital knot on July 12. She will marry a software techie Vidyasagar on the same day at the Thiruppathy temple.
A report says that the engagement function was held with utmost secrecy at Meena’s residence at Seydapet, last day. The whereabouts of Vidyasagar is not yet out, though Meena asserts that this is an arranged marriage.
The actress who acted films such as ‘Oru Pudhiya Geethai’, ‘Idhaya Oonjal’ etc.., and television serials become popular as heroine only through ‘Enn Rasavin Manasilaey’ paired with Rajkiran later emerged number one heroine in Tamil through ‘Yejamaan’ with Rajini Kanth geared to the peak in her career.
Meena, who had been maintaining a steady track record for the last one and a half decade, still has a number of assignments to complete. She had a release this week in Vijayakanth-Vikraman team’s ‘Mariyadhai’. She will be seen in a couple of Malayalam movies in near future including ‘Pattunool Oonjal‘ with Manoj K Jayan.
Actress Meena comes from a rich family with extensive cinema background and started her career with ‘Nenjangal’ as a child artist. As a teenager, she shot to popularity pairing up with many superstars from Rajnikanth to Cheeranjivi to Ravichandran.
